Ballon d’Or (französisch für Goldener Ball) wurde für das Jahr 2013 zum vierten Mal gemeinsam von der Zeitschrift France Football und dem Fußball-Weltverband FIFA unter der Bezeichnung FIFA Ballon d’Or verliehen und kürte den „Weltfußballer des Jahres“.
The 2013 FIFA Ballon d'Or Gala was the fourth year for FIFA's awards for the top football players and coaches of the year. The awards were given out in Zürich on 13 January 2014. The deadline for voting was 15 November 2013 but was extended to 29 November 2013 for the first time in history.
The winner was Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo, ahead of Lionel Messi. This was the second of Ronaldo's five Ballon d'Or awards. See the list of all Ballon d'Or winners. During the 2013 FIFA Ballon d'Or presentation they announced a new award, called the FIFA Ballon d'Or Prix d'Honneur.
