Northern Illinois Michael Vinson (born August 27, 1999) is an American football long snapper. He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and was a first-team All-American in 2022.
AS A GRADUATE (2022) Competed in all 13 games as the Irish’s top long snapper. One of the top long snappers in the country, snapping 117 times without a fumbled snap. Helped block for field goal and punt units that did not have a kick blocked throughout the season.

28. Apr. 2024 · Vinson was invited to the Indianapolis Colts’ rookie minicamp on Saturday evening. Vinson started every game for the Irish over the past four seasons, earning Patrick Mannelly Award semifinalist honors twice and becoming a first-team American Football Coaches Association All-American in 2022.
Notre Dame has not allowed a blocked punt or kick in Vinson’s starting career; Made history in 2022 as the first and only long snapper ever recognized by the AFCA as a First-Team All-American; 2023. Appeared in every game this season, completing 117 snaps without an errant snap thus far.
