1. Make sure Adobe AIR is installed. If not, it can be downloaded from here. 2. Download Scratch 2.0 for Windows hereand run the downloaded file. 3. * If an error saying "the application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged" appears, try updating AIR to version 33. 4. Change installation preferences if you wish. In most cases the installation location does not need to be changed. 5. Click install. If you are prompted for an Administrator password enter it.
The backpack is not available for the offline editor.Graphics blocks will slow down the editor due to a bug.If your offline editor is crashing directly after Scratch is opened, install the Scratch 2 offline editor again.
