Viole Maribor, or simply Viole, are a Slovenian ultras group that supports NK Maribor. They are one of two major ultras groups in Slovenia, the other being their traditional rivals, Green Dragons, the supporters of NK Olimpija Ljubljana. [1]
The origins of the NK Maribor supporters group known as Viole can be traced back to 1989. That year, a group of passionate young fans, mostly school-going children, started gathering in the south stand of the Ljudski vrt stadium.
