The Royal British Legion (RBL), formerly the British Legion, is a British charity providing financial, social and emotional support to members and veterans of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependants.
The Royal British Legion was established to care for those who had suffered as a result of service during the First World War. And we've been helping the Armed Forces community and their families ever since.

5. Apr. 2013 · The Royal British Legion are the UK's leading Service charity and have been helping the Armed Forces community for over 100 years. Even though their needs have changed over time, the need for our work is as great as ever.
There are approximately 2,500 Royal British Legion branches across the UK and overseas. They are focal points for social activity, Remembrance and support the Armed Forces community in all kinds of ways.
The Royal British Legion is perhaps best known for its annual Poppy Appeal and Remembrance services, firmly establishing it as a campaign organisation dedicated to promoting the welfare and interests of current and former members of the British Armed Forces.
