Das "Datei" Menü
1. Das Menü "Datei" hat die zusätzlichen Optionen "Nach Update suchen" (wodurch das neuste Update des Offline Editors heruntergeladen und installiert wird) und "Beenden" (wodurch der Editor beendet wird). 2. Dafür fehlen die Optionen des Hoch-, beziehungsweise Herunterladens auf den PC. 3. Auch kann vom "Datei"-Menü aus im Offline Editor ein Projekt direkt auf der ScratchWebsite veröffentlicht werden, wenn denn eine Internetverbindung vorhanden ist.

1. Die Benennung der Projekte erfolgt offline lediglich über das Speichern auf dem Computer, nicht durch ein interaktives Feld über der Bühne. 2. Dort, wo online der Benutzername angezeigt wird, erscheint im Offline-Editor "Offline Editor (beta)". 3. Es können nur normale Variablen und keine Cloud-Variablenverwendet werden. 4. Der Block Benutzernamekann ebenfalls nicht benutzt werden.
Das Veröffentlichen funktioniert ähnlich wie in Scratch 1.4. Allerdings können keine Notizen, Spieleanleitungen oder Stichwörter angegeben werden. Es gibt ein 50 MB-Limit, was die Größe des Projektes betrifft.
