Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad [1] was born on 15 November 1945 in Bjørkåsen, a small village in Ballangen near Narvik, in northern Norway, to a Norwegian mother, 19-year-old Synni Lyngstad (1926–1947) and German soldier father, Alfred Haase (1919–2009), a sergeant in the Wehrmacht. [2]
Am 3. April 1963 heiratete sie im Alter von 17 Jahren den Teppichhändler und Hobbymusiker Ragnar Fredriksson und bekam mit ihm zwei Kinder, einen Sohn (* 1963) und eine Tochter (* 1967). Die Tochter starb 1998 bei einem Autounfall in den USA.
Alfred Haase (29 June 1919-23 February 2009) was a German Wehrmacht sergeant during World War II. He was the father of the famous Norwegian singer Anni-Frid Lyngstad from ABBA.

Her half-brother Peter Haase read the story and asked his father about his whereabouts during World War II. A few months later, Anni-Frid Lyngstad finally met her father Alfred for the first time.
