30. Juni 2024 · If you are using Outlook Web (i.e., accessing Outlook in a browser), you may not have to worry about this issue; however, if you are having trouble signing in because of the upgrade to modern authentication, you can try deleting your account and adding it again.

11. Juni 2024 · To help keep Outlook personal email accounts secure, starting September 16, 2024, Microsoft will no longer support Basic Auth, the method in which a person provides only their username and password to sign into their account.
