Index of Games Played by Year. The following is an index of all the games I've played and reviewed on this blog, in order of year and then title. You may also view an index of games played in alphabetical order. Years given are the dates of initial release regardless of the version that I played.
I was an addict of about a dozen CRPGs that I knew intimately and played over and over. Too much of my conception of the overall genre was based on that limited number of RPGs, a situation that didn't change until somewhere in the 50-100 game mark.
Here at the CRPG Addict, we apply a more specific definition to the term: a group of varied monsters that the player encounters without any sense of logic or context. For instance, it's perfectly logical that orcs would be patrolling the corridors of the sorcerer's fortress, even randomly.

The CRPG Addict is a long-running blog built around the daunting task of playing every single CRPG in a chronological order. At this point, it’s been operational for over a decade, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be shutting down anytime soon.
