  1. 1. Feb. 2001 · Light perception by the plant photoreceptor phytochrome requires the tetrapyrrole chromophore phytochromobilin (PϕB), which is covalently attached to a large apoprotein. Arabidopsis mutants hy1 and hy2, which are defective in PϕB biosynthesis, display altered responses to light due to a deficiency in photoactive phytochrome.

  2. 24. Dez. 2015 · In this study, by using genetic, pharmacological, and physiological approaches, we showed the biological functions of HY1 during drought stress responses, in which HY1 negatively regulated ABI4 in ABA -induced stomatal closure driven by the RbohD-derived ROS.

  3. 17. März 2012 · Further, MYC2 and HY1 have been shown to play important roles in jasmonic acid (JA) signaling pathways. Here, we show the genetic interactions of HY1 with two key transcription factor genes of light signaling, HY5 and MYC2, in Arabidopsis seedling development.

  4. 24. Dez. 2013 · NAA induces HY1 expression, H 2 O 2 generation and LR formation. As shown in Fig. 1 a and Supplementary Fig. S1, the addition of the synthetic auxin 1-naphthylacetic acid (NAA) ranging from 25 to 100 nM, increased Arabidopsis LR density in a dose-dependent manner.

  5. 5. Mai 1999 · The hy1 mutants of Arabidopsis thaliana fail to make the phytochrome-chromophore phytochromobilin and therefore are deficient in a wide range of phytochrome-mediated responses.

  6. 21. Juli 2021 · Abstract. The spacing of lateral roots (LRs) along the main root in plants is driven by an oscillatory signal, often referred to as the "root clock" that represents a pre-patterning mechanism that can be influenced by environmental signals.

  7. 1. Sept. 2012 · Arabidopsis HY1/HO1, heme oxygenase enzyme, catalyses the oxygenation of heme to produce biliverdin, an essential step in the phytochrome–chromophore biosynthesis pathway. GBF1/ZBF2 is a G/Z-box binding bZIP protein that plays a dual but opposite regulatory roles in blue light-mediated seedling development and gene expression.
