9. Feb. 2022 · This profile presents information from the 2021 Census of Population for various levels of geography, including provinces and territories, census metropolitan areas, communities and census tracts.
Statistics Canada produces statistical data and insights to help Canadians better understand their country's population, resources, economy, society and culture. In addition to conducting a Census every five years, there are about 350 active surveys on virtually all aspects of Canadian life.
These products provide statistical information about the population, households, dwellings, families, immigration and ethnocultural diversity, Aboriginal peoples, education and labour, mobility and migration, language of work, income and housing as measured in the census program.
28. Sept. 2022 · In 2021/2022, Canada’s population grew by a record 703,404 people (+1.8%) to reach an estimated 38,929,902 on July 1, 2022. This growth greatly surpasses the preceding high observed one year before the pandemic (2018/2019), when the population grew by 536,146 people (+1.4%).
