1.7 million passengers used MAG airports in August, down 74.9% on last year, owing to Covid-19 related travel restrictions. The number of passengers MAG has served in the last 12 months is now down 48.8% to 32 million.
Manchester Airports Group (MAG) airports served 2.7 million passengers in October, which represented 51% of pre-pandemic traffic compared to the same month in October 2019. These figures mark six months of sustained increases in the number of passengers travelling through MAG airports. In May 2021, the Group only welcomed 260,000 passengers.
